So it's all done. It looks right, so we just have to trim it up. We're gonna use a razor blade to cut off the excess veneer strips here and then we're gonna. Do the sides yeah all right, so I'm gonna start cutting off the extra veneer. I just have a nice flat surface to hold against the board just to make sure it's nice and straight all right.
We decided we want to do kind of a, applesauce pattern on our table, so we're gonna start with a big piece here. This is just gonna be our little coffee table, so it doesn't have to be too secure too perfect all right, so this is going really well we're gonna try to switch things up and bring the diagonals going this way. I think for that, though, we're gonna need to get some really clean edges, so we're gonna cut them with a razor just so we have like really clean lines all right.
A lot of the plan is to keep this wood yes and add the wood veneer strips on top. So I think this is a particle board underneath here, which is perfect because when you use wood, veneer strips you're, usually covering something: that's not solid wood. So then it looks like solid wood. It's must have been pretty expensive. This is made really well the bottoms not gonna look perfect, but no one's gonna see it so we're just gonna try to clean it up as best as we cannot too bad yeah, not too bad, there are holes.
